3 Safety Instructions If you use this Device while driving, remember that your safety depends on using it responsibly. Accidents can happen quickly. Keep your hands on the wheel and your eyes on the road. Have a passenger change settings, or if that it not possible, pull over safely first. Keep the volume low enough to hear outside sounds, including emergency sirens, car horns, and railroad crossing or other safety signals. TOSHIBA and Microsoft® make no representations, warranties or other determinations that ANY use of the software product listed above is legal, safe, or in any manner recommended or intended while driving or otherwise operating a motor vehicle. General Operation Prolonged Views of Screen If you are driving, do not access any function requiring a prolonged view of the screen. Pull over in a safe and legal manner before attempting to access a function of the system requiring prolonged attention. Even occasional short scans to the screen may be hazardous if your attention has been diverted away from your driving task at a critical time. Volume Setting If you use this product while driving, do not raise the volume excessively. Keep the volume at a level where you can still hear outside traffic and emergency signals while driving. Driving while unable to hear these sounds could cause an accident. ❖ Should you notice any abnormality such as odor, smoke, or overheating, disconnect the USB cable and turn off the power. ❖ If water or other foreign objects should enter the product, disconnect the USB cable and turn off the power. ❖ If you have dropped the product or damaged the product case, disconnect the USB cable and turn off the power. ❖ Continuing to use the product may result in fire, possibly resulting in serious injury.
