CAUTION • Keep your fingers well clear of the disc as it is spinning. Neglecting to may cause serious personal injury. • Be careful not to catch your fingers in the disc holder. • Do not use a cracked, deformed, or repaired disc. Preparations • Connect the AC adapter [1_ or the battery pack [_ to the player'. • When you want to view a disc on a connected TV or monitoc turn on the equipment and select the video input connected to the player. • When you want to enjoy the sound of discs from an audio system, turn the audio system on and select the input connected to the player. • If you use the supplied remote control, make sure that batteries are loaded in it. • If you use the headphones, see "Connect to headphones". • Slide the top cover open button rightwards to open the top cover. Slide this switch rightwards to open TuPrnOWoEnRthe Prpeosws ePrO. WER. POWER © The player turns on and the POWER/CHG indicator on the player illuminates in green. When the player is turned on for the first time, an initial set-up display appears. See "Initial Setup" and make the proper settings before proceeding to step 2. Open the disc cover. the top cover _ The disc cover opens. 2_ Press OPEN on the main unit. The cover is designed to stop at 2 positions. Do not force the cover open further, as it may cause damage to the player. 3 Set a disc. 4 -SETUP TOP MENU MENU 2 STOP 5 POWER/CHGindicator 120 Place a disc with the playback side down, and push gently on the center of the disc to affix it to the spindle. Close the disc cover. Press CLOSE on the right corner.
