• To obtain a higher quality picture Occasionally, some picture noise not usually visible during a normal broadcast may appear on the TM screen while pleying a DVD video disc because the high resolution pictures on these discs include a lot of information. On-Screen Language: Select the appropriate on-screen language. TV Shape: Select a picture size according to the aspect ratio of your TV. When you use the LCD of this player, select "16:9 Widescreen." (See [_ for details.) Audio Out Select: Select the output sound format corresponding to your audio system connection, (See for details.) • To start playback in the stop mode. Press PLAY. I_ pLAY PLAY ® Notes • Do not put an unp/ayabte disc or any objects other than discs in the disc holder. • Do not tilt, shake or move the main unit while playing. It may damage the disc. • In many instances, a menu screen will appear after playback of a movie is completed. Prolonged display of an on-screen menu may damage your television set, permanently etching that image onto its screen.
