Advanced playback Playing in a Favorite Order You can combine your favorite titles, chapters, or tracks and play them in the order you determine. You can program up to 20 selections into the memory. (Memory playback) ENTER / / / STOP PLAY CLEAR Number buttons MEMORY SHIFT DVD-V VCD DVD-A CD Setting titles, chapters, or tracks in a favorite order 1 Press MEMORY while pressing SHIFT during stop. The programming display appears. SHIFT e.g. DVD-V DVD-A MEMORY A-B RPT TT: Title number CH: Chapter or Track number 01 TT:-- CH:-02 TT:-- CH:-03 TT:-- CH:-04 TT:-- CH:-05 TT:-- CH:-- Exit 06 TT:-- CH:-07 TT:-- CH:-08 TT:-- CH:-09 TT:-- CH:-10 TT:-- CH:-- To change the programmed selections 1 While the display appears on the screen, press / / / to move the highlighted bar to the item you want to change. 2 Change the selection following the instructions in step 2. To cancel the programmed selections 1 While the display appears on the screen, press / / / to move the highlighted bar to the item you want to cancel. e.g. VCD CD 2 Press CLEAR while pressing SHIFT. 01 -02 -03 -04 -05 -- 06 -07 -08 -09 -10 -- To resume normal playback from memory playback 1 Press MEMORY while pressing SHIFT to display the programming display. 2 Enter the number in the order wish to playback, then press ENTER. Pressing the ENTER button causes the highlight to move to the next item. Pressing will allow you to access the next programming display. 3 Select "Start" using and press ENTER or PLAY. The player starts memory playback. 2 Since "Stop" is selected, press ENTER. You can also exit memory playback by pressing STOP. Notes • Pressing the CLEAR button while pressing the SHIFT button resets the numbers. • Some discs may not permit memory playback operation. • When the display appears on the screen, either selecting "Exit" and pressing the ENTER button or pressing the MEMORY button while holding down the SHIFT button causes the display to be disappeared. • The programmed selections will be cleared when you turn off the player.
