Advanced playback Playing in Random Order You can play chapters or tracks in random order. (Random playback) STOP RANDOM SHIFT DVD-V VCD DVD-A CD Playing chapters or tracks in random order Press RANDOM while pressing SHIFT. Each time you press the RANDOM SHIFT button, the random mode changes as follows. RANDOM REPEAT Shuffle To resume normal playback Press RANDOM while pressing SHIFT repeatedly until the random display disappear. RANDOM SHIFT REPEAT You can also exit random playback by pressing STOP. Shuffle Random No display Plays chapters or tracks once on a disc in random order. Plays chapters or tracks in random order. Resumes normal playback. Note Some discs may not permit random playback operation. If you press the RANDOM button during playback, the player automatically starts random playback after finishing the current chapter or track. 35
