Editing the Stored Data 1) When the phonebook location to be edited appears, S t o r e / E d i t N a m e press the EDIT soft key. "Store/Edit Name" appears. "Delete Memory?" appears. 2) Press volume/ L to move the pointer to "Yes". 3) Press the OK soft key. You hear a confirmation tone. "Deleted!" appears in the display. Chain Dialing The memory locations in the handset are not limited to phone numbers. You can also store a group of numbers (up to 20 digits), that you need to enter once your call connects. This is referred to as Chain Dialing. An example of this is a bank account number. Store a special number in the phonebook location (refer to "Storing Phone Numbers, Names, Distinctive Rings and Speed Dial" on page 38). Once you have called your bank, and when you are prompted to enter the account number, just as you do when viewing the phonebook location, view the special number, then press the DIAL soft key.
