The projector can display several test patterns. It helps you adjust the image size and focus and check that the projected image is free from distortion. See "Hiding the image" for details. Selecting On displays the current information on the screen when the projector is detecting or searching for a signal. Allows you to select which logo screen will be displayed during projector start-up. See "3D functions" for details. See "Changing HDMI input settings" for details. See "Lamp Settings" for details. After the projector is installed with the optional filter cover, use this function to activate the filter mode. Enables or disables the DCR (Dynamic Contrast Ratio) function. Selecting On enables the function and the projector will automatically switch the Lamp mode between normal and economic modes according to the input image detected. This function is only available when a PC input signal is selected. After enabling DCR, frequent Lamp mode switching may shorten Lamp life and noise level will vary during operation. Selects a preferred closed captioning mode when the selected input signal carries closed captions. ●● Captions: An on-screen display of the dialogue, narration, and sound effects of TV programs and videos that are closed captioned (usually marked as "CC" in TV listings). This function is only available when a Composite video input signal is selected and its system format is NTSC. Caption Version To view captions, select CC1, CC2, CC3, or CC4 (CC1 displays captions in the primary language in your area). Returns all settings to the factory preset values.
