Telephone operation Delete a directory entry You can delete a directory entry using a handset or the telephone base. Once a directory entry is deleted, it cannot be retrieved. To delete an entry: 1. Search for the desired entry in the directory (see Review the directory or Alphabetical search on page 47). 2. When the desired entry appears, press the DELETE softkey. The screen then shows the next alphabetical entry in the directory. 49

Delete a directory entry
You can delete a directory entry using a handset or the telephone base. Once
a directory entry is deleted, it cannot be retrieved.
To delete an entry:
Search for the desired entry in the directory (see
Review the directory
or
Alphabetical search
on page 47).
When the desired entry appears, press the
DELETE
softkey. The screen
then shows the next alphabetical entry in the directory.
