CYCLE GUIDE Settings and options shown in bold are default settings for that cycle. For best fabric care, choose the cycle that best fits the load being washed. If using the Eco Monitor, adjust the temperature and spin speed within that cycle to improve energy usage. Not all cycles and options are available on all models. High Medium Low No Spin Heavy Normal Medium Light Deep Clean Extra Rinse Fabric Softener Oxi This cycle uses more water to flush out allergens, such as dust mites or pet dander, from normally soiled garments. Rinse/Drain & Spin Wet load of clothes Rinse/Drain & Spin High Medium Low No Spin No Spin Heavy Normal Medium Light Heavy Normal Medium Light Deep Clean Extra Rinse Fabric Softener Oxi EcoBoost EcoBoost Use this cycle to eliminate 99.9% of bacteria when used in conjunction with the Deep Clean with Heater option. Preset cycle setting must be used to achieve the proper sanitization. Be sure to add an Oxi product to the Liquid Chlorine Bleach dispenser. Use this cycle every 30 washes to keep the inside of your washer fresh and clean. This cycle uses a higher water level. Use with AFFRESH® washer cleaner tablet or liquid chlorine bleach to thoroughly clean the inside of your washer. This cycle should not be interrupted. See "Cleaning Your Washer." IMPORTANT: Do not place garments or other items in the washer during the Clean Washer with AFFRESH™ cycle. Use this cycle with an empty wash tub. Adjustable soak time to loosen heavy soils. At the end of the cycle, the washer will drain but not spin, and a tone will sound. To set a follow-up cycle, add additional detergent and select a cycle based on fabric type. High Medium Low No Spin EcoBoost This cycle uses a high-speed spin. For Fabric Softener some fabrics, you may wish to set the spin speed to a lower setting. High Medium Low To select, choose Rinse/Drain & Spin and turn off Extra Rinse. Use this cycle to spin excess water out of a load. This cycle drains the water and spins at a high speed. Spin speed is adjustable. * Wash temperatures vary according to the chosen cycle setting. All cycle settings use a cold rinse temperature. Only the Allergen cycle has been designed to meet the requirements of NSF Protocol P351 for Allergen Reduction Performance effectiveness. †† Sanitary with Oxi S anitary with Oxi cycle certified by NSF International, an independent, third party testing and certification organization. The certification verified that the cycle reduced 99.9% of bacteria typically found in clothing, bedding, and towels. There is no carry over of bacteria between loads after the cycle is complete. Only the Sanitary with Oxi cycle has been designed to meet the requirements of NSF Protocol P12 for Sanitizing Effectiveness. 7
