Print is Irregular or Mottled Troubleshooting Probable Causes Solutions The media is moist from humidity. Unsupported media (wrong size, thickness, type, etc.) is being used. Remove the moist media and replace it with new, dry media. Use Xerox-approved media. See Supported Media on page 41. One or more of the toner cartridges may be defective. Remove the toner cartridges and check each for damage. If one or more is damaged, replace it. One or more of the imaging units may be defective. Remove the imaging units one at a time, and check for damage. If it is damaged, replace it. The two grey dials on the fuser are adjusted for envelope printing.
