Using headphones Connect a pair of headphones to one of the [PHONES] jacks. Two [PHONES] jacks are provided. You can connect two sets of standard stereo headphones. (If you are using only one pair of headphones, you can plug them into either of these jacks.) CAUTION Do not use headphones at a high volume for an extended period of time. Doing so may cause hearing loss. Optional headphones HPE-160 Yamaha headphones. Using the headphone hanger You can hang the headphones on the instrument. Install the headphone hanger using included two screws (4 x 10mm) as shown in the illustration. NOTICE Do not hang anything other than the headphones on the hanger. Doing so may damage the instrument or the hanger. Bottom surface Standard stereo phone plug Switching the speakers on/off 470 440 430 S408 S406 465GP The [SPEAKER] switch turns the internal speakers on or off. NORMAL ..... The speakers produce sound as long as a pair of headphones is not connected. ON The speakers always produce sound. OFF The speakers produce no sound.
