TO PLAY A SOURCE OPERATIONS 2 3 l NATURAL SOUND STEREO AMPLIFIER AX 9 STANDBY/ON PURE TAPE DIRECT MONITOR AUX TAPE MD CD TUNER PHONO SLEEP PHONES SPEAKERS A B ON ON OFF OFF PURE DIRECT TAPE MONITOR 1, 6 INPUT VOLUME BASS 0 TREBLE 0 0 l0 BALANCE - + - + LR 47 1 VOLUME 0 l0 Set to the "0" position. 2 Turn the power on. STANDBY/ON Lights up. 3 Select a desired input source. INPUT AUX TAPE MD CD TUNER PHONO The indicator of the selected source lights up. 7 4 Select the speakers to be used. SPEAKERS A B ON ON OFF OFF * If you use two speaker systems, press both the A and B switches. 5 Play the source. 6 VOLUME 0 l0 Adjust to the desired output level. 7 If desired, adjust the BASS, TREBLE and BALANCE controls or turn on the PURE DIRECT switch. (Refer to page 12.) When you finish using this unit Press the STANDBY/ON switch again to turn this unit into the standby mode. Standby mode In this state, this unit consumes a very small quantity of power to receive infrared-signals from the remote control transmitter. 10
