System settings Resetting the MusicCAST client to default settings At times it may be convenient to return your MusicCAST client to the default state it was in when you first purchased it. You may wish to do this in cases such as the following: • When your MusicCAST client appears to be functioning incorrectly for no apparent reason, and reference to the troubleshooting section (page 68) is of no assistance. • When you have made multiple mistakes in setting the parameters on your MusicCAST client and wish to start again. • When you wish to reset the MusicCAST completely for use in a different MusicCAST network. Warning • Resetting the MusicCAST client to its default settings will not reverse any updates to the MusicCAST software that you have made, or erase any data stored in your MusicCAST network. It resets all settable parameters to their server settings, so you need to set them to suit your requirements after performing the reset procedure. Note that in resetting all the parameters, the MusicCAST client also resets its network parameters, and disconnects itself from your MusicCAST network. Resetting the MusicCAST client to default
settings
At times it may be convenient to return your
MusicCAST client to the default state it was in
when you first purchased it. You may wish to do
this in cases such as the following:
When your MusicCAST client appears to be
functioning incorrectly for no apparent reason,
and reference to the troubleshooting section (page
68) is of no assistance.
When you have made multiple mistakes in setting
the parameters on your MusicCAST client and
wish to start again.
When you wish to reset the MusicCAST
completely for use in a different MusicCAST
network.
Warning
Resetting the MusicCAST client to its default
settings will not reverse any updates to the
