Panel Controls      !  C2 D2 E2 F2 G2 A2  [PITCH] bend wheel For adding smooth pitch variations to the notes you play on the keyboard. Roll the wheel toward you to raise the pitch, or away from you to lower it. With the [FUNCTION] button, you can change the direction of the pitch bend (page 28).  [VIBRATO] button Press this button to add a vibrato effect to notes played on the keyboard.  [SUSTAIN] button Press this button to sustain the notes played on the keyboard. Release it to stop the sustain.  [VAR] (Variation) lamp Glows when the instrument is on, with the color indicating the selected Voice. See page 20 for more details on the Voices and color indications.  [SYNTH] button Selects one of three synthesizer Voices each time this button is pressed.  [PIANO] button Selects one of three piano Voices each time this button is pressed.  [GUITAR] button Selects one of three guitar Voices each time this button is pressed.  [OTHER] button Selects one of three other Voices each time this button is pressed.  [JAM] button With each button press, this turns on (lamp lights), selects the Jam mode in order, and then turns off the Jam function (lamp turns off). See page 25 for more details on Jam modes.
