USB Cable Connection Use the cable that comes with the instrument for USB connection. Turn off the power of the instrument, then connect your smart device to the instrument. To properly connect the cables, carefully follow the indicated instruction steps as illustrated above. The necessary items for this connection differ depending on your smart device (as shown above) and are sold separately. CAUTION • Before using a USB hub, be sure to read its precautions. • Use only a USB hub compatible with the USB standard for power supply. Output voltage 4.8V - 5.2V Output current 1.0A or greater 2. USB Cable Connection
Use the cable that comes with the instrument for USB connection. Using other USB cables can make
the connection unreliable.
1.
Turn off the power of the instrument, then connect your smart device to the
instrument.
To properly connect the cables, carefully follow the indicated instruction steps as illustrated
above. The necessary items for this connection differ depending on your smart device (as shown
above) and are sold separately.

Turn on the instrument.
3.
Set the “USB MIDI” function to ON (page 29).
While holding down the [FUNCTION] button, press the C5 key.
