Customizing the Settings 1. While holding down the [FUNCTION] button, press one of the highlighted keys shown below to set a parameter. The instrument beeps in high or low pitch to indicate the operation. High pitch indicates the setting has been changed or the function has been set to "on." Low pitch indicates the function has been set to "off." No sound indicates the setting has reached its limit and cannot be changed. Functions PITCH BEND RANGE For adding smooth pitch variations to notes you play on the keyboard. Value: 1 - 12 Default: 2 TRANSPOSE For transposing the pitch of the keyboard up or down in semitones. Value: -6 - +6 Default: 0 NOTE • Transpose cannot be changed when the Jam mode is on. • The Transpose setting cannot be applied when a drum kit is selected (page 36).
