Engine Oil If the lowoil level light on the instrument panelcomes on, it means you need to check yourengine oil level right away. Formore information, see "Low Oil Level Light" in the Index. You should check your engine oil level regularly; this is an added reminder. It's a goodidea to check your engine oil everytime you get fuel. In order to get an accurate reading, the oil must be warm and the vehicle must be level ground. on The engine oil dipstick is located behind the radiator hose on the driver's side of the engine. The yellow looped handle helps to identify it. Turn off theengine and give the oil a few minutes to drain back into the oil pan. If you don't, the dipstick oil might not show theactual level. 6-10
