When you want to open a rear door when the security lock is on: 1. Unlock the door fromthe inside. open the door, set the If you are leaving the vehicle, locks from the inside, get and close the door. out 2. Then open the door from the outside. To cancel the rear door lock: 1. Unlock the door from the inside and open the door from the outside. 2. Move the lever all the way down. 3. Do the same for the other rear door. The rear door locks will now work normally. With this feature,you can lock and unlock the doors, unlock the trunk, open the fuel doorand turn on your vehicle's interior lamps from about 10 feet (3 m) away using the RKE transmitter supplied with your vehicle. Leaving your key in any ignition positionwith any door open will disable theuse of the power door lock switches. The anti-lockout feature disabled when the is ignition is on.If you close the doors, you can lock them using the RKE system. Itis always recornmended that you remove the ignitionkey when locking your vehicle.
