Seats and Restraints Remote Start Heated Seats During a remote start, the heated seats may turn on, depending upon the outside temperature. They are canceled when the ignition is turned on. Press the button to use the heated seats after the vehicle is started. The indicator lights on the climate control display do not turn on during a remote start. The temperature performance of an unoccupied seat may be reduced. See Remote Vehicle Start on page 2￿13. 3-11 Rear Seats Notice: Folding a rear seat with the safety belts still fastened may cause damage to the seat or the safety belts. Always unbuckle the safety belts and return them to their normal stowed position before folding a rear seat. The vehicle may have a split folding rear seat. Sedan or Coupe To lower one or both of the rear seatbacks: 1. Pull forward on the tab, on the outboard side of the seatback, to unlock the seatback. 2. Fold the seatback down. This allows access to the trunk. See Trunk (Sedan, Coupe) on page 2￿20.
