Never getunder a vehicle when it is supported only by a jack. 3. Position the jack under the vehicle. If the flat tire is on the front of the vehicle, position the jack on the frame behind the flat tire. If the flat tire is on the rear of the vehicle, position the jack on the axle near the flat tire between the spring and the shock absorber. I NOTICE: Raising your vehicle withthe jack improperly positioned will damage the vehicle or may allow the vehicle to fall off the jack.
