If you do not use your vehicle under any of these conditions, change the fluid and filter every 100,000 miles (166 000 km). u Rotate tires. (See footnote +.) u Inspect propeller shafts and U-joints for looseness and damage (or every 15 months, whichever occurs first). Inspect more frequently if used off-road or for pulling a trailer.
