Where Are the Airbags? United States Canada There is an airbag readiness light on the instrument panel, which shows AIR BAG or the airbag symbol. The system checks the airbag electrical system for malfunctions. The light tells you if there is an electrical problem. See Airbag Readiness Light on page 3-26 for more information. The driver's airbag is in the middle of the steering wheel. 1-65
