Top Strap Anchor Location There is a top strap anchor for each rear seating position. The anchor brackets are located on the ﬂoor in the cargo area of your vehicle. Do not use the rear set of tie-down brackets near the liftgate/endgate or the center tiedown bracket near the rear seats. Do not secure a child restraint in the right front passenger's position if a national or local law requires that the top strap be anchored, or if the instructions that come with the child restraint say that the top strap must be anchored. There is no place to anchor the top strap in this position. 4-door Models 1-41
