{CAUTION: If the airbag readiness light stays on after you start your vehicle, it means the airbag system may not be working properly. The airbags in your vehicle may not inflate in a crash, or they could even inflate without a crash. To help avoid injury to yourself or others, have your vehicle serviced right away if the airbag readiness light stays on after you start your vehicle. The airbag readiness light should flash for a few seconds when the engine is started. If the light does not come on then, have it fixed so it will be ready to warn you if there is a problem. Passenger Airbag Status Indicator (Sedan) Your vehicle has the passenger sensing system. United States - Sedan Canada - Sedan If you have a sedan, the airbag off symbol will be visible near the clock, located in the center of the instrument panel, during the system check. 3-31
