Airbag System Your vehicle has the following airbags: • A frontal airbag for the driver. • A frontal airbag for the right front passenger. Your vehicle may have the following airbags: • A seat-mounted side impact airbag for the driver. • A seat-mounted side impact airbag for the right front passenger. • Seat-mounted side impact airbags are available for the second row captain's chairs (if equipped). 5. Rotate the head restraint forward and push it all the way down. Just like the other restraint systems in your vehicle, your built-in child restraint needs to be periodically checked and may need to have parts replaced after a crash. See Checking the Restraint Systems on page 1-91 and Replacing Restraint System Parts After a Crash on page 1-92. For frontal airbags, the word AIRBAG will appear on the middle part of the steering wheel for the driver and on the instrument panel for the right front passenger. With seat-mounted side impact airbags, the word AIRBAG will appear on the side of the seatback closest to the door. 1-77
