The spare tire location To remove the spare tire: 1. 2. 3. 4. 1. Remove the optional cargo net and storage bag. Remove the spare tire cover. Unscrew the wing-nut holding down the spare tire. Lift out the spare tire, jack, and lug wrench. Make sure that your vehicle will not move or roll. If you have an automatic transmission, put the gearshift in P (Park). If you have a manual transmission, put the gearshift in 1 (First). Set the parking brake and block the wheel that is diagonally opposite the tire that you are changing. The spare tire location

Remove the spare tire cover.
3.
Unscrew the wing-nut holding down the
spare tire.
4.
Lift out the spare tire, jack, and lug wrench.
Preparing to Change the Tire
1.
Make sure that your vehicle will not move
or roll. If you have an automatic
transmission, put the gearshift in P (Park). If
you have a manual transmission, put the
gearshift in 1 (First). Set the parking brake
and block the wheel that is diagonally
opposite the tire that you are changing.
