Instrument Panel Brightness, Hazard Warning Instrument Panel Brightness brightness when you turn the ignition switch to the ON (II) position. If you do not insert the key in the ignition switch after opening the driver's door, the illumination turns off about 30 seconds after you close the door. If you insert the key but do not turn the ignition switch to the ON (II) position, the illumination turns off in about 10 seconds.
