SMS TEXT MESSAGING Receive and send text messages from your paired and linked compatible phone. Visit handsfreelink.honda.com to check if this feature is compatible with your phone. Standard message rates apply. This feature is limited while the vehicle is moving. iPod ® OR USB FLASH DRIVE Connecting Devices and Playing Audio 1. Pull out the USB adapter cable from the center console. Play audio files from your compatible iPod or USB flash drive through your vehicle's audio system. See your Owner's Manual for a list of compatible devices. Receiving Text Messages Use the selector knob to make and enter selections. 1. A notification appears on the i-MID. Select Yes to open the message. 2. The message is displayed, and the system reads it aloud. 3. Press (9) (:) or (t) (u) on the steering wheel to change tracks. Replying to Text Messages Use the selector knob to make and enter selections. 1. With the message open, press the selector knob to enter the Text Message Menu. 2. Select Reply. 3. Select one of the six available reply messages. 4. Select Yes to send the message. 2. Press AUX or SOURCE on the steering wheel until iPod or USB mode appears. Connect the USB connector to your iPod cable or flash drive. Note: Connect your device only when your vehicle is stopped. iPod is a trademark of Apple, Inc. Calling the Sender Use the selector knob to make and enter selections. 1. With the message open, press the selector knob to enter the Text Message Menu. 2. Select Call to begin the call. Searching for Music Use the selector knob to make and enter selections. 1. Press the selector knob to enter the iPod menu or USB folder list. 2. Select a search option or folder. 3.
