Apply a thin film of oil to the gasket and tighten the
oil filter to the specified torque.
NOTE
°
Renewing the oil filter will be best-performed by
your authorized dealer since engine bottom guard
needs to be removed for access to the oil filter.
A. Gasket
•
Install the engine oil drain plug with its gasket.
Tighten it to the specified torque.
NOTE
°
Replace any damaged gaskets with new ones.
•
Fill the engine up to the “H” (High) line on the dip-
stick with a good quality engine oil specified in the
table.
Tightening Torque
Engine Oil
Drain Plug:
20 N·m (2.0 kgf·m, 14.5 ft·lb)
Oil Filter:
17.5 N·m (1.8 kgf·m, 13 ft·lb)
