152 MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENT Side Cover Check each side cover for proper function. Push the latch plate into the buckle until it clicks. The latch plate must slide smoothly into the buckle. Make sure the three belts attached to the upper cover have no slack. If any irregularities are found, have the side cover checked or replaced by an authorized Kawasaki dealer. j A. B. C. D. A.
