GENERAL INFORMATION 53 Starter Button: Refer to the "Starting the Engine" section of the "How to Ride" chapter for starting instructions. To start the engine, push the starter button with the front or rear brake applied in any shift position. j Shift Lever This vehicle is equipped with a sub-transmission and a reverse gear. The shift lever is located at the right side of the engine and it has four positions: "H" (High), "L" (Low), "N" (Neutral), and "R" (Reverse). ○For the electric starter to operate, the engine stop " position, the igswitch must be set to the " nition switch must be turned to the "ON" position, and the brake must be applied, if the shifter is in a position other than "N" (neutral). Starter Button:

NOTE
For the electric starter to operate, the engine stop
switch must be set to the “
