EXTERIOR EQUIPMENT MOON ROOF The ignition key must be in the "ON" position. However, even if the ignition key is turned to the "ACC" or "LOCK" position, the moon roof can be operated until any of the doors is opened (or for about 60 seconds). The moon roof will move while the switch is being pushed and stop when released. However, as a precaution, it stops partway before sliding fully closed, except when already more than two-thirds closed. Therefore, release the switch then push it again to close it completely. The sun shade can be opened or closed manually. However, if you open the moon roof, the sun shade will be opened with the moon roof. ! CAUTION To avoid serious personal injury, you must do the following. S While the vehicle is moving, always keep the head, hands and other parts of the body of all occupants away from the roof opening. Otherwise, you could be seriously injured if the vehicle stops suddenly or if the vehicle is involved in an accident. S Always make sure nobody places his/her head, hands and other parts of the body in the roof opening before you close the roof. If someone's neck, head or hands gets caught in the closing roof, it could result in a serious injury. When anyone closes the roof, first make sure it is safe to do so. To slide open or to close the moon roof, push the switch to the OPEN or CLOSE side. To tilt up or lower the rear end of the moon roof, push the switch on the TILT UP or LOWER side. 45

MOON ROOF
To slide open or to close the moon roof, push the switch
to the OPEN or CLOSE side. To tilt up or lower the rear
end of the moon roof, push the switch on the TILT UP
or LOWER side.
