GAUGES, METERS AND SERVICE REMINDER INDICATORS CALIBRATING THE COMPASS The direction display on the compass deviates from the true direction determined by the earth's magnetic field. The amount of deviation varies according to the geographic position of the vehicle. To adjust for this deviation, stop the vehicle and with the ignition on, push the "ODO/TRIP" button together with the "RESET" button for longer than 3 seconds until the number (1-15) appears on the display.
