OCCUPANT RESTRAINT SYSTEM If any of the following conditions occurs, this indicates a malfunction of the airbags or seat belt pretensioners. Contact your Lexus dealer as soon as possible. D The light does not come on when the ignition key is turned to the "ON" position or remains on for more than 6 seconds. D The light comes on while driving. The SRS warning light and "AIRBAG OFF" indicator light will be illuminated if there is a malfunction in the front passenger occupant classification system. In the following cases, contact your Lexus dealer as soon as possible: D Any of the SRS side airbags and curtain shield airbags have been inflated. D The portion of the doors (shaded in the illustration) was involved in an accident that was not severe enough to cause the SRS side airbags and curtain shield airbags to inflate. 139
