Note: For shifting differential locks, see page 253. For shifting transfer case, see page 247. Important! When parking the vehicle or before working on the vehicle with the engine running, firmly pull parking brake lever up as many notches as possible and shift the selector lever into "P". When starting off on a slippery surface, do not allow one drive wheel to spin for an extended period with the ESP switched off.
