Tailgate Note: When unlocking the tailgate with the mechanical key, the exterior lamps will flash and the alarm will sound. To cancel the alarm, insert the electronic key in the starter switch to position 1 or press button Œ or ‹ on the electronic key. 1 2 Important! Only drive with the tailgate closed as otherwise exhaust fumes may enter the vehicle interior. Warning! 2184 To open the tailgate, press the lock cylinder (2) and pull on the tailgate handle (1). The tailgate swings open to one side. Always make sure there is sufficient clearance for tailgate.
