NOTE: When starting or driving on a steep uphill M grade, shift to the & position and operate the paddle shifter to shift down to 1st gear as a manual transmission vehicle. . M & position: Use the paddle shifter to shift down, then depress the accelerator pedal depending on the vehicle speed. Driving on a downhill: . A & position: order to maintain the effectiveness of the engine brake. However if the vehicle is traveling too fast depending on the degree of the slope, you M should shift to the & position and use the paddle shifter to shift down.
