SAFETY Operator Safety WARNING POTENTIAL HAZARD Overloading the ATV or carrying/towing cargo improperly. WHAT CAN HAPPEN Overloading and towing can cause changes in vehicle handling, which could lead to loss of control or an accident. HOW TO AVOID THE HAZARD Never exceed the stated load capacity for this ATV. Cargo should be properly distributed and securely attached. Reduce speed when carrying cargo or pulling a trailer. Allow a greater distance for braking. Always follow the instructions in the owner's manual for carrying cargo or pulling a trailer. WARNING POTENTIAL HAZARD Operating on frozen bodies of water. WHAT CAN HAPPEN Severe injury or death can result if the ATV and/or the operator fall through the ice. HOW TO AVOID THE HAZARD Never operate the ATV on a frozen body of water. If you're confident that the ice is thick enough and sound enough to support the machine and its operator, as well as the force created by a moving vehicle, exercise extreme caution. 34
