MAINTENANCE Engine Oil Oil and Filter Change 1. Position the vehicle on a level surface. 2. Place the transmission in PARK. 3. Start the engine. Allow it to idle for 30 seconds. 4. Stop the engine. 5. Clean the area around the drain plug. 6. Place a drain pan under the oil tank. 7. Remove the drain plug. 8. Drain the oil. Drain Plug Screen Fitting New Sealing Washer Hot oil may result in serious burns. Do not allow hot oil to contact skin. 9. Clean the drain plug. Reinstall the drain plug with a new sealing washer. 10. Torque to specification. See page 74. 76
