MAINTENANCE Tires WARNING Operating your vehicle with worn tires will increase the possibility of skidding, loss of control and an accident, which could result in serious injury or death. Always replace tires when the tread depth measures 1/8" (3 mm) or less. Improper tire inflation or the use of non-standard size or type of tires may adversely affect vehicle handling, which could result in vehicle damage or personal injury. Always maintain proper tire pressure. Always use POLARISapproved size and type of tires for this vehicle when replacing tires. Tire Tread Depth Always replace tires when tread depth is worn to 1/8" (3 mm) or less. 1/8" (3 mm) Front Wheel Hub Tightening Front wheel bearing tightness and spindle nut retention are critical component operations. All service must be performed by your authorized POLARIS dealer. Wheel Removal 1. Position the vehicle on a level surface. 2. Place the transmission in neutral. Set the parking brake. Stop the engine. 3. Loosen the wheel nuts slightly. 4. Elevate the side of the vehicle by placing a suitable stand under the frame. 5. Remove the wheel nuts. Remove the wheel. 76
