Don't include the compact spare tire your in tire rotation. After the tires have been rotated, adjust the front and on rear inflation pressures as shown the Tire-Loading Information label. Make certain thatall wheel nuts are properly tightened.See "Wheel Nut Torque" in the Index. When It's T h e for New Tires One way totell when it's time for newtires is to check the treadwear indicators, which will appear when yourtires have only 1/16 inch (1.6 mm) or less of tread remaining. I Rust or dirt on a wheel, or on the parts to'which it is fastened, can make wheel nuts become loose after a time. The wheel could come and cause off an accident, When you change awheel, remove any rust or dirt from places where the wheel attach.&to the vehicle.
