The ABS warning light comes on briefly when you turn the ignition key to ON. This is normal. If the light does not come on then, have it fixed so it will be ready to warn you if there is a problem. Traction Control System (TCS) Warning Light This light should come on briefly when you start the engine. Low Tire Pressure Warning Light This light should come on briefly as you start the engine. If it stays on or comes on while you are driving, there is a problem with your Traction Control System (TCS). The TCS warning light comes on briefly when the ignition is turned to ON. It will come on again when you press the TRAC OFF button to turn off the TCS. See Traction Control System (TCS) on page 4-6 for more information. It will then come on only when a low tire pressure condition exists. See Tire Pressure Monitor System on page 5-57 for more information. In the following cases, contact your dealer: • The indicator light does not come on when the ignition is turned to ON. • The indicator light remains on after the ignition is turned ON. • The indicator light comes on with the normal driving mode while driving. 3-34
