The tire iron (1) and jack/crank (2) are held in place by a strap and are located to the left of the spare wheel (3) under the floor of the cargo compartment. Accessing the spare wheel The spare wheel is held in place by a retaining bolt. To access the spare wheel: 1. Lift up the cargo area floor. 2. Unscrew the retaining bolt and lift out the spare wheel. When the spare wheel is returned to its storage space, place it with the outside of the wheel facing down, and reinsert and tighten the retaining bolt. 182 07 Wheels and tires Changing a wheel Removing a wheel The spare tire, jack, and crank are located under the carpet on the floor of the cargo area. To change a tire: 1. Engage the parking brake. 2. Put the gear selector in (P)ark.
