Aastra 677x (OpenPhone 7x) System Telephones The Aastra 6771/OpenPhone 71, Aastra 6773/OpenPhone 73 and Aastra 6775/ OpenPhone 75 are corded system telephones that you can operate on your OpenCom 1000 communications system. The MenuCard display makes your telephone easy to operate and gives you fast access to your system's wide range of functions and features. The Aastra 6771/OpenPhone 71, Aastra 6773/OpenPhone 73 and Aastra 6775/ OpenPhone 75 have the same functionality, the only difference being the size of the display and the number of programmable keys available. The Aastra 6773/ OpenPhone 73 and Aastra 6775/OpenPhone 75 telephones can also be expanded by means of an add-on key extension that offers additional programmable keys (see page 32). The Aastra 6773/OpenPhone 73 and Aastra 6775/OpenPhone 75 are also available as IP telephones (Aastra 6773ip/OpenPhone 73 IP and Aastra 6775ip/ OpenPhone 75 IP). These telephones are no different from the standard system telephones in principle. They have the same functionality and are operated in exactly the same way as the standard system telephones. All the functions described in this guide are also available for the IP telephones. The chapter on IP Telephones (Voice over IP) starting on page 67 contains a short summary of the information necessary for the IP system telephone user. You can activate the features and functions on the telephones themselves or your system administrator can activate them using the communications system's configuration program. The current settings are immediately activated, regardless of whether they have been activated on the telephone or via the configuration programme. About this User Guide The description of the various functions of your system telephone covers (unfortunately) many pages. Not every user has the time and the leisure to read the guide from start to finish before telephoning for the first time. System Telephones
The Aastra 6771/OpenPhone 71, Aastra 6773/OpenPhone 73 and Aastra 6775/
OpenPhone 75 are corded system telephones that you can operate on your
