Absence Information Absence Information Absence Information is used to inform callers why you are absent and when you will return. If you are authorized, you can also enter Absence Information for another extension from your extension. During Absence Information, your phone can still be used for outgoing calls and you will hear a special dial tone when you lift the handset.
