Removing the RTC Battery IMPORTANT: Follow local regulations for disposal of all batteries. 1. See "Removing the Lower Door" on page 44. IMPORTANT: Do not pry the battery out of the socket. Using force may permanently damage the battery socket. 2. Slide the RTC Battery to the right to release the securing clips in the battery socket. 3. Lift the battery clear of the socket.
