Using the Adaptec SCSI Card 29160LP and SCSI Devices Installing Multiple SCSI Cards I You can install multiple SCSI cards in your computer; you are limited only by the available system resources (for example, IRQ settings, I/O port addresses, BIOS addresses, and so forth). Connecting the LED Connector (Optional feature) Most computers have an LED disk activity light on the front panel of the system case. If you choose to disconnect the cable from the LED connector on the motherboard and connect it to the LED connector on the SCSI card as shown in the diagram below, the LED on the front panel of the computer will light whenever there is activity on the SCSI bus. Note: If you connect the LED cable to the SCSI card, the LED activity light will no longer indicate disk activity on the non-SCSI disk drive. You can install multiple SCSI cards in your computer; you are

Each SCSI card you install forms a separate SCSI bus with a
different set of SCSI devices. SCSI IDs can be reused as long as
