Printing images or preparing files for output at a photo lab When satisfied with the color, you're ready to print the images or prepare the files for output at a photo lab. Both scenarios are described below. To print images on a printer: 1. Choose File > Print with Preview. Use the Print with Preview dialog box to convert to colors appropriate for your printer. 2. In the Print section, select Document. 3. In the Options section, do the following: • For Color Handling, choose Let Photoshop Determine Colors. • For Printer Profile, choose your printer and media profile. • Choose a Rendering Intent. Note: Choose the same rendering intent that you selected in the Customize Proof Condition dialog box. 4. Click Print. 5. Select the proper media type and appropriate driver settings for your printer. For more information about your printer's driver settings, see the printer's user guide. Caution: Because you've selected Photoshop to determine color handling, disable the color management feature in the printer driver. If you don't, additional conversions and unexpected color results might occur. If you have files printed at a photo lab, make sure to save them with your working space profile embedded so the lab can open your image on a calibrated monitor, see the color as you intended and print the image to match the image you viewed on-screen.
