8 Directory 8.1 Consulting your directory To access the Directory, tap from tool bar on the main screen, or select "Directory" from the main menu. The whole contact list is categorized by Favourite/Most called and All contacts. Favourite Most called For the first time consulting your directory, your are required to import contact from SIM card to your cellphone. Searching for a contact Tap to search for a contact by inputting the initial of his/her name. Subsequent letters may be added to refine the search. Alternatively scroll up/down to find the contact you need after reaching the initial letter within the contact list (A-Z) section. Viewing a contact Select a name from your directory to read the contact information. Tap to send message Tap to enter option list Tap to send vCard by Bluetooth,MMS,Email,etc. Tap to edit the contact 8.2 Adding a contact You can add a new contact by tapping . Following fields are accessible when you create a new contact in the directory: Name, Image, Mobile, Copy to SIM/Not copy to SIM, Home, Work, Email, Birthday, Birthday reminder, URL, Address, Ringtone, Group. You can move from one field to another by scrolling up and down or using the Volume key. Birthday reminder You can set a birthday reminder when editing contact information. This will remind you at regular intervals during the day prior to the set date (see page 75). If you use your cellphone abroad, store the numbers in your Directory in international format "+" followed by the country code (see page 25). 41 42
