4 Using the Notebook PC Fingerprint Scanner The fingerprint scanner can be used for instant and secure user authentication. ON OFF Right click the taskbar icon to open the software menu to edit users or make settings. You can launch the software from Windows "Start" if the taskbar icon is not running.
